Californ-I-A

Meagan got married so we got to head out to California for a week break... it was so nice! Spencer has been super busy all summer with boards and his externship that it was nice to finally have a vacation together... it was much needed for all of us.

Old Town San Diego...
While we were in San Diego we went to the Mormon Battalion site that is in Old Town. It was really neat to see all that our Church has contributed.

Wedding Fiasco!!
It was so fun being able to attend Meagan and Dwight's wedding. It was a lot of craziness getting it all ready but it turned out beautiful.

Coming & Going
While we were flying to and from California we got to meet up with some pretty cool people...
The Anderson Family
Spencer's brother Ryan and his family came to visit us in the Airport because we had a 2 hour lay over. We had a little pizza party in the baggage claim area. Thanks guys.

Ryan and Spencer

Kelan, Kaydree, Carver, Elsie and Ava.

Beckham and Kelan were awesome flying buddies.

Evander Holyfield
p.s. for those of you who are saying who is this?? It is the guy that got his ear bitten off by Mike Tyson. He's a famous boxer. His bodyguards were pretty funny. They were making fun of me for taking a picture with him when I didn't even really know who he was.

He was on our 6 a.m. flight home... Spencer was to chicken to take a picture with him but since me and the boys did he wanted one too.

Side Note: Beckham started crawling!!! He started crawling right before he turned 7 months... now he's working on the stairs. He's trying to keep up with his big brother.

Weekend Fun...

Spencer has been super busy with his externship so we are loving every minute we get to hang out with him. Our good friends Josh and Dana have come back into town from their summer internship. It is good to have them back we missed them a ton. This weekend we hit up the farmers market, Splash station, and had some delicious BBQ. Good times!

Farmers Market
They have the most awesome farmers market in Downtown Omaha. It is amazing how packed it is and how many vendors they have.

Pretty flowers.
Busy, Busy!!
Check out these studs.

Splash Station

Even though the splash station was out in Fremont it was worth the drive. We had a blast and got some great tans out of it.

Beckham loves the water.
Josh only goes outside if he is in a pool in this nasty weather. I guess we will be doing a lot of swimming if we want to hang out with Josh and Dana.
Josh using his strength to make it across... Josh says it is harder than it looks.
Trying to stay cool in the nasty humidity.
Soaking up the sun!!

Daddy Daddy
These boys LoVE their Daddy... Spencer got home from his externship and his back was killing him. He needed a good rub down and these boys were all over it.

Hangin' Out...

We decided to head over to St. Louis for a few weeks to hang out with T.J., Ansley and Cohen. We had a blast... well actually Kelan, Beckham and I did. Spencer was stuck studying for Boards everyday all day. It worked out well because T.J. was also busy studying. Me and Ansley had fun partying hard with the little boys.

Park, Swimming & Hanging Out
We had so much fun doing whatever and the boys were up for it ALL.

Kelan loved swimming even after almost drowning within the first 5 seconds of getting there.
2 to 3 we were out numbered... crazy, crazy!
Our Mr. Chubbs
Kelan loved the shopping carts at Trader Joe's... he just about ran everyone over in the store and he put everything he saw in his cart.
Buddies

Science Center

We had a ton of fun... Kelan was a little disappointed they didn't have trains. They had pretty much everything else you could want from Dinosaurs to airplanes to spaceships... but we could not find a single train in the whole place, trust me we looked EVERYWHERE!

We asked someone to take our picture and they forgot to include the Dinosaurs... hahaha.

Yes we built the St. Louis Arch. It is suppose to stand up on its own... it was a good try.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
While we were in St. Louis we celebrated Spencer's 27th birthday. We had a dutch oven dinner and dessert with Spencer's good friend Richard and his family. Then Ansley and T.J. took us all to the batting cages... it's kind of a tradition.

Blackberry peach cobbler since Spencer hates cake.
The boys cooking the dutch oven during a rain storm... good thing we had some Eagle Scouts there to keep it goin.
Richards little boy Will... giving high fives.
Kelan and Emma were playing airport. They had their bags all packed and they were pretending to go to the airport to see their Grandma's and Grandpa's in Idaho.
Kelan loves baseball.
Spence and Ansley swinging away.
Beckham loves baseball too.
Happy Birthday Spencer... we love you LoTS!

Transportation Museum
Kelan was in Heaven at this place... even though it was stinkin hot and humid outside. They had so many cool trains and cars. The best part was that you could actually go inside the trains.

These things were huge!
Yup stinkin big.
Kelan driving the huge train.
This was one of my favorite trains.
We even found the choo choo driver.
Sweet ride!
Ansley was saying how funny it will be when the cars we drive around are in a Museum... hahaha.
