Baby Crew

Crew made it here safely... It seemed like it was a little bit of a nightmare. Why do I say this? I went to bed Friday night at 10 and woke up about 11:20 to contractions. I thought I should time them and let them go for a while. I started packing my bag and then decided to call Spence. When he got home he said lets just go in and if they send us home no big deal. Our neighbor came over to listen for the boys and we headed to the hospital. I was still thinking maybe we should just wait and see. Half way to the hospital my body started to push...? It was the weirdest feeling. I start to panic and say "I'm not going to be able to get the epidural." When we get there my mom tells them that my contractions are right on top of each other and she feels like she has to push. They put me in a wheel chair and run me through the hospital to the delivery room. When they ask me to get on the bed I am thinking I can't move but do I want to have this baby in the wheel chair or on the bed? As soon as I get on the bed they say okay lets check and see where you are at. I told them no you need to get my pants off because this baby is coming! They kept telling me to breath and I looked into the nurses eyes and said "No I don't do this without the epidural, I need the epidural." The next nurse said okay hang on Dr. Evans will be here in 10 minutes and I said "No get ready to catch the baby he's coming now." ... and there he was. I got to the hospital at 12:25 and Crew was born at 12:31... SIX minute later. It was pretty awful and CRAZY but he was worth it. He is so cute and perfect! We love him so much and the boys are already so protective of him. He is the best!
