Beach camping!

Summer time is my favorite time of the year! I love everything about it! The warm sun, the cool pool, the long summer nights, the barbecuing, trips to the beach, and so much more. Every year each sibling takes a turn planning the family summer vacation and this year it was Mikes turn. He did an awesome job finding a beautiful campsite. We camped between Santa Cruz and Monterey and it was a blast! It was such a fun and relaxing weekend.

Our site had the best climbing tree. The kids were entertained for hours. Oh and those 4 boys... I love my handsome boys, I am one lucky girl.

Setting up Grandma and Grandpas tent. Look at how dirty that sweet little girls face is. Claire we've only been at the campsite for 10 minutes! Haha, the best part about camping!
The first night we were there we walked down to the beach to fly kites and watch the sunset.
Crew was having a tough time walking on the beach. It was pretty funny watching him stumble around all weekend.
There was this cute little firehouse museum that we visited and I think it was one of the kids favorite parts of the whole trip.
They gave us a personal tour and we all got our very own firefighter hats. Spencer didn't really want to wear his so I got to wear both of ours. You can see the excitement on Beckahm's face in this picture. He can't hold it back!
I will have to say as the kids get older camping gets even more fun! They were busy playing and exploring the whole time we were there. It was such a nice break from the constant asking to play video games or watch a show!
Mr. William turned 6 while we were there. Happy Birthday William! I can't believe how big all these kids are getting. It is so fun!
This wast the path from our campsite down to the beach. It was so beautiful! Poor Beckham sprained his ankle at some point while we were camping and by the last night and day he couldn't walk anywhere. He had to be carried or strolled everywhere. Poor kid was way bummed he was missing out, it was torture to have to sit still.
The water was freezing as usual but the kids didn't care.

Spencer and Crew slept for a good 2 hours on the beach. The best napping spot ever! The sad part... that blanket didn't do its job of blocking them from the sun! Spencer got pretty toasted and a strip of Crews face too. Luckily they put sunscreen on, it could've been a lot worse.
The kids had so much fun finding crabs.
The last day we were there we headed to The Boardwalk. We went on a few rides and then walked around downtown and got pizza, ice cream, and shopped.
Can you see the fear in Kelan's eyes!? He was pretty nervous especially when I would make us tip forward and backward. He kept saying "that sign says not to do that Mom!" We survived.
We had such a fun time hanging out with family! Can't wait for next year!

Happy Fourth of July!

We had a really fun fourth of July this year. We partied, partied, partied all day long. We had a lot of fun swimming, barbecuing and spending time with good friends all day. We started the day off going to the donut shop. Who knew they would be closed on the Fourth? Luckily we were able to hunt one down that was ran by an Asian lady. Hahaha. The boys would have been seriously disappointed. This has kind of become a special occasion tradition for us. Who doesn't like a good donut every once in a while?! Then after this little family time we began the partying. First we went to a party with a bunch of Spencer's co-residents. Then we went to some of our good friends house for more swimming, barbecuing and fireworks. It was a fun filled day and let me tell you the poor boys were pooped!

Crew is such a fun kid! He is so full of energy and love and everyone around him can see it. It is so funny how friendly he is with everyone he meets. The reason I say this is because the little Asian lady who ran the shop was just smiling and giggling at Crew. His love and spunkiness is contagious. We're pretty lucky to have him apart of our little family.
Mr. Beckham couldn't take a break from his donut long enough to take a picture. They were that GoOd. Hahaha.
Beckham was in love with this big puppy. He is a puppy lover and has been asking for a puppy for Christmas. Sorry buddy it's not happening.
Crew loves his Daddy and still to this day (18 months old) prefers to call me daddy unless he is hurt or seriously needs something, then I'm momma.
 Love my crazy little buddy.
Beckham and our good little friend Lacey.

 And they are DoNE!

Idaho Trip

Spencer got a nice little surprise... a week off!!! So we decided to hop in the car and head to Idaho. It was such a fun trip. We got to make a few detours along the way to visit some of our good friends from dental school. We had such a good time visiting friends and family and it was worth every miserable minute of the never ending drive. Ok so it really isn't that bad but it definitely was not my favorite part of the trip.

The Dunyon's
Our first stop was the Dunyon's! We swam, barbecued and hit the town of Ogden for some delicious pizza. It was so fun visiting these guys and getting to snuggle sweet baby Nora for the first time. Oh how we miss our besties!
Get us out of this car!!!
Relaxing in the hot tub and warming up for round two in the pool.
The cutest baby EVeR! Little Miss Nora seriously looked like a doll. She is so sweet and perfect.
Oh how we love our little Miss Mommy Bella. She melts our hearts.
Playing tether ball... aka hitting each other in the face ball. Hahaha, it was a good try.
Crew and his girlfriend Nora. Whether she like it or not.
Goodbyes are the worst! When they get married we are including this in their wedding video.

The Taylor's
Next stop was the Taylor's. We got to spend a nice relaxing Sunday with these guys just like old times. Playing on their awesome playset, eating a delicious Sunday roast and topping it off with some tasty smores. It was so fun but so sad to visit because a day was just not enough time to hang with our buddies. We sure miss having these guys just a few doors away.
Ummm pretty sure its only day two of our trip. They are already pooped. Yes Crew and Spencer are napping on the grass during Sunday School.
Look at all those cute boys. They are getting so big! I think this picture says it all... they had a big old boy fest and loved it.
Roasting the biggest marshmallows I've ever seen. So fun!
Crew loved their little car. Him and Max were battling for it all day.

Grandma & Grandpa's
Now it is on to good old Idaho. We had so much fun visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and to top it off we even got a little Coco Bean and Ledgie Poo action. These boys had a blast together!
These boys love their Grandpa... one jumped on and they all wanted in on the Papa fun.
We had a dog and mallow roast while we were there.
The boys had so much fun jumping on the trampoline. The water ball made it that much more fun. I'm pretty impressed we didn't have any accidents. These crazies were making me pretty nervous.
Poor Ledger and Crew couldn't keep up with the big boys on the tramp.

While we were there we got to go through the temple with Merilee. It was such a special experience and we are so glad we were able to be there with her. We sure love our Mer Bear.
We got to see Robert in action while we were there. Let me tell you he can move! We were very impressed with his softball skills.
Crew really wanted in on the action.
 Grandpas fan club.
Crew wasn't the only one who wanted in on the action. Poor Spencer really wanted to play but everyone showed up that day.
Our first trip to the Idaho Falls Zoo... and let me say we were not disappointed. Short sweet and to the point! Just the way we like it.
These glasses on Beckham crack me up. He thinks he is too cool for school.
Crew is a little nervous about animals. He looks really happy in this picture but I think he is more nervous/afraid. It was a little to close for comfort.
We almost got them all looking. Near impossible.
Beckham and Ledger trying so hard to get a little sip from the tigers mouth.
Our Cohen is still the same old crazy monkey boy. We sure love and miss this kid.
Beckham is such a daddies boy... well they kind of all are. They hang out with their mom to much and that makes dad so much cooler.
 Pure Joy.
 He means business.
 Holding hannies.
On our way back from visiting Aunt Sandy and Uncle Jimmy we made a quick little pit stop at the square ice cream shop. So goooood.
Crew and I actually shared and I'm pretty sure he ate it all. He takes after his Grandpa Dave... big fans of the cream.
 Goodbye Idaho... we'll miss you!
Can't we just vacation always? Who needs to work anyway? I want to jump on board with the Robert and Robyn plan. Play hard and work when you have a free minute.
Poor Beckham was pooped. It took him a couple days to recover. This pretty much sums up our little vacation... AMAZING!
