So Kelan finally turned one… It is amazing how fast he is growing. He has learned so many cool new tricks. He can clap his hands, give high fives, tell secrets, run super fast and spin in circles. His first birthday was a good one, it ended up being about a week long.
On his birthday Kelan woke up to
a room filled with balloons and streamers. He loved throwing and kicking the balloons all over the apartment.
Grandma and Grandpa Anderson came up to Rexburg to take him to McDonalds for his first time. Spencer sent him down the slide all by himself and he pretty much rolled the whole way down. He wasn’t the biggest fan of that but he did go for round two. He loved the rootbeer and chicken nuggets.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.
We then celebrated one more time at Malinas Mexican Restaurant and bowling in Blackfoot. Kelan’s two favorite things refried beans and balls. Kelan isn't the best at bowling but he sure knows how to keep the bowling balls organized. Ansley and I made Kelan a March Madness basketball cake. I will have to say it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Who knew that neon orange would look pink. We will have to remember that for next time. Kelan loved it and that's all that matters. He would have eaten the whole thing if we would have let him. He loved having all of his best friends at his party to celebrate with him. Kelan wanted to say thanks for al the fun toys and cute clothes, he loves them all!
