A quick lOOk at SUmMeR!

Our summer was a good one. There was lot of hanging out with a few small trips here and there. It was fun to just have Kelan home with us to paly and play and play. I'll have to say that having a kid in school brings new light to summer vacation. There was no rushing out the door with all the kids every morning and no strict bedtime (I say strict because I still enjoy "me" time, even in the summer) it was just our time to do whatever we wanted. I had too many fun random pictures to not post them, so here it goes with a little bit of this and a little bit of that...

These kids LOVE watermelon!
This kid would swing all day if I let him and if I would push him. Haha.
Kelan is the best big brother. He is so sweet to Crew and Beckham even when they are being annoying little brothers.
I walked in to check on these boys and they were all holding hands. CUTE! "Brudders" are the best!
We did lots of this all summer long.
Most of the summer Crew was an observer. He enjoyed snacking and watching much more than swimming.
Poor Spencer missed out on most of the summer due to tireditis. If our daddy isn't working he is catching up on sleep. Poor daddy! The boys still enjoy snuggling a sleeping daddy.
MY TOOTH!
Kelan lost his first tooth. He had been waiting a long time for this! A lot of his friends lost teeth in Kindergarden and he was patiently waiting for his turn. It was pretty wiggly and Spencer decided it was time to get it out. He numbed Kelan up and pulled it out in the bathroom. Kelan was so brave and didn't even cry. It may have been a little early because the root was still super long. Oh well, the tooth fairy paid him extra for the long root. ($5.00!)
So excited to show off his missing tooth.
HaPPy BiRThDay!
Spencer turned the big 30! Man he is old! Haha. The boys had fun helping me decorate and pick out donuts for dad. We woke dad up right before he was supposed to go play softball and surprised him with breakfast. Surprise! We also got together and had a swim party and BBQ with some friends. We are so lucky to have Spencer in our lives. He is such a great dad and husband and we are glad he is ours! We are sure glad we got to celebrate him on his special day. Happy 3-0!
Beckham and Kelan each picked out a treat for Spence and made him a little card to go with it. They sure love their dad!
Mr. Crew loves sleeping, cuddling, chilling, playing or doing just about whatever his dad is doing. He is a daddy's boy! Happy Birthday to our favorite daddy!
Playing at the library park.
Mr. Crazy pants himself.
The boys made their very own picnic table and they were so proud! That board is pretty darn heavy so it was impressive and amusing watching the three of them try to get it on top of a rolling wagon. Those are three very determined boys right there.
These two are the best!
Beckham dressed up like his buddy "Gosh" or Josh.
Fun forts that never lasted long if destructo Crew was awake or around. It normally turned into jumping onto piles of pillows.
Trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Hanging with little Claire.
Relaxing with Ashlin.
Playing at the Car wash! These kids have so much fun together.
Looking for VW Bugs. We always try to see who can get the most bugs in a day. Normally not by looking out the window... Talk about cheap entertainment!
Impressive.
This is what happens when these boys get ahold of my phone. A biz-zillion pictures magically appear.
That's about it for our random summer fun. It sure was a good one!

Beach camping!

Summer time is my favorite time of the year! I love everything about it! The warm sun, the cool pool, the long summer nights, the barbecuing, trips to the beach, and so much more. Every year each sibling takes a turn planning the family summer vacation and this year it was Mikes turn. He did an awesome job finding a beautiful campsite. We camped between Santa Cruz and Monterey and it was a blast! It was such a fun and relaxing weekend.

Our site had the best climbing tree. The kids were entertained for hours. Oh and those 4 boys... I love my handsome boys, I am one lucky girl.

Setting up Grandma and Grandpas tent. Look at how dirty that sweet little girls face is. Claire we've only been at the campsite for 10 minutes! Haha, the best part about camping!
The first night we were there we walked down to the beach to fly kites and watch the sunset.
Crew was having a tough time walking on the beach. It was pretty funny watching him stumble around all weekend.
There was this cute little firehouse museum that we visited and I think it was one of the kids favorite parts of the whole trip.
They gave us a personal tour and we all got our very own firefighter hats. Spencer didn't really want to wear his so I got to wear both of ours. You can see the excitement on Beckahm's face in this picture. He can't hold it back!
I will have to say as the kids get older camping gets even more fun! They were busy playing and exploring the whole time we were there. It was such a nice break from the constant asking to play video games or watch a show!
Mr. William turned 6 while we were there. Happy Birthday William! I can't believe how big all these kids are getting. It is so fun!
This wast the path from our campsite down to the beach. It was so beautiful! Poor Beckham sprained his ankle at some point while we were camping and by the last night and day he couldn't walk anywhere. He had to be carried or strolled everywhere. Poor kid was way bummed he was missing out, it was torture to have to sit still.
The water was freezing as usual but the kids didn't care.

Spencer and Crew slept for a good 2 hours on the beach. The best napping spot ever! The sad part... that blanket didn't do its job of blocking them from the sun! Spencer got pretty toasted and a strip of Crews face too. Luckily they put sunscreen on, it could've been a lot worse.
The kids had so much fun finding crabs.
The last day we were there we headed to The Boardwalk. We went on a few rides and then walked around downtown and got pizza, ice cream, and shopped.
Can you see the fear in Kelan's eyes!? He was pretty nervous especially when I would make us tip forward and backward. He kept saying "that sign says not to do that Mom!" We survived.
We had such a fun time hanging out with family! Can't wait for next year!

Happy Fourth of July!

We had a really fun fourth of July this year. We partied, partied, partied all day long. We had a lot of fun swimming, barbecuing and spending time with good friends all day. We started the day off going to the donut shop. Who knew they would be closed on the Fourth? Luckily we were able to hunt one down that was ran by an Asian lady. Hahaha. The boys would have been seriously disappointed. This has kind of become a special occasion tradition for us. Who doesn't like a good donut every once in a while?! Then after this little family time we began the partying. First we went to a party with a bunch of Spencer's co-residents. Then we went to some of our good friends house for more swimming, barbecuing and fireworks. It was a fun filled day and let me tell you the poor boys were pooped!

Crew is such a fun kid! He is so full of energy and love and everyone around him can see it. It is so funny how friendly he is with everyone he meets. The reason I say this is because the little Asian lady who ran the shop was just smiling and giggling at Crew. His love and spunkiness is contagious. We're pretty lucky to have him apart of our little family.
Mr. Beckham couldn't take a break from his donut long enough to take a picture. They were that GoOd. Hahaha.
Beckham was in love with this big puppy. He is a puppy lover and has been asking for a puppy for Christmas. Sorry buddy it's not happening.
Crew loves his Daddy and still to this day (18 months old) prefers to call me daddy unless he is hurt or seriously needs something, then I'm momma.
 Love my crazy little buddy.
Beckham and our good little friend Lacey.

 And they are DoNE!
