Grandma & Grandpa visit!!

It was so fun to have Grandma and Grandpa come our way. Lucky Robert got to go to meetings all week while Robyn and I played. The boys always love when Grandma and Grandpa visit.

First thing we did when they got here was play Hungry Hippos. It was #1 on the to do list for the boys.

 Not sure why but Robert always wants to squeeze in the back with the boys. They think its pretty fun. Crew was bummed he didn't get to ride with the cool kids in the back.

 Lucky Grandma and Grandpa got to stay in Downtown.

 Kelan took this picture (along with many others) as we were driving in one of the days to hang out. I was pretty impressed with his skills.

Kelan was really nervous about feeding all the birds. Beckham loved it! The birds just kept coming.

 There was no spinning going on for Crew. Last time we did that there was some very awful consequences. We decided to just sit this time.

 Crew is a little obsessed with shoes. He has to give every pair just a little try.

 Robyn was so cute to do these fun cupcakes with the boys. They loved it!

 Spencer, Robert and a few of Spencer buddies from under-grade got to go to a Niners game.

 We also got to meet up with their cute families at the Golden Gate Park. It was so fun to see them I think its been almost 6 years since we'd seen them last.

 I love Crews cute little face in this picture. He is trying so hard to look as cool as possible. He is trying so hard to not smile. He loved this ride. It was a little embarrassing because every time I went to get Crew off this ride he would scream and throw a fit. Then we would get back in line and he didn't understand the whole wait your turn concept. Oh Crew. You're the best!

 There's that face again. Hold that smile in! It kinda reminds me of my dad. He is alway grinning like that. Good thing his middle name is David. You're too funny Crew.

It is always a good time when Grandma and Grandpa come to town. Come back soon!

Labor Day Camping

This was such a fun camping trip. We did a whole lot of nothin! The best weekend EVER! Sometimes this is exactly what you need. The kids had so much fun running around the campsite getting as dirty as they possibly could. It was such a fun trip with such fun friends. The Browns are very good people for putting up with us for an entire weekend.

Beckham and Crew were the best little helpers. Doesn't get more fun than shopping for a camping trip with these two crazies. They definitely keep things interesting.

 We started our trip off at a Sports bar watching the BYU game. Crew was very into the game/ranch.

 The kids are done and ready to go camping! Such a cute little bunch.

 We've been camping for maybe an hour and they are already filthy. I'm normally not a fan of dirty kids but when we are camping... the dirtier the better!

The kids had so much fun exploring. I am so grateful we made it out with no head injuries from all the rocks.

 This was Shawna's attempt to keep Nate clean. It lasted about 30 minutes. It was an honest effort.

 It was such a beautiful campsite.

 Our nature hike. Spencer was going to protect us with the plastic baseball bat. You never know what you'll find on a hike.

 Beckham won the prize for the best sleeper on our camping trip. Crew took DEaD last! Pretty sure he woke up before the sun was up every morning.

 So sleepy.

We ran across "The Birds" festival. Who knew we would be so lucky to find such an event. Hahaha. It was the 50th anniversary of Hitchcocks film?

It was quite interesting. Crew is obviously not impressed. There were fake birds everywhere! So funny. I will have to say it was such a cute little town and they had some very tasty food.

You can't go camping without the beach.

Beckham thought going into the hole head first was a good idea until he could get back out. Good thing he has a big brother to take care of him.
