Happy Birthday Beckham!

Beckham turned 3! I can't believe how big Beckham is getting. He still loves everything sports but has added a few new things to his list of favorites. He is now in love with legos and video games thanks to Kelan. He loves being a big kid and has always been that way. He always wants to play with Kelan and his big friends and is in heaven when they let him tag along. Beckham is such a sweet boy with a little bit of sass from time to time. He can't wait for the day that he gets to go to "sgool" with Kelan. I'm glad we aren't there yet but it is coming fast. We love our Becky Boo!

We had a fun day planned for Beckham. It started off with him waking up to a balloon filled bedroom. Kelan reminds us for every birthday that we need to put balloons in their bedroom. They love it!

Then we ate donuts and Chocolate milk for breakfast.

Lego store and Build A Bear

Crew decided that in honor of Beckham's birthday he would wear his birthday suit... hahaha. He had a massive blowout so we had to go buy him some new clothes. Thank goodness for Children's Place and their awesome $2.99 rack.

Build A Bear

Beckham was so excited! He thought it was the best! He still love his old raggedy puppy the best and will only sleep with him.

He gave his puppy a bath and got him a basketball uniform to wear.

Chuck-E-Cheese

Then of course we went to Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner. I don't know why but Beckham is in love with this place. He asks every couple of days if we can go eat there and then he says "is that a good idea mom?" Ummm actually it's not... hahaha. What do you say?

Crew had so much fun crawling around on the musty floor for hours and sitting in the non moving vehicles (easily entertained).

By the end of the night Beckham had been spoiled rotten and boy was it showing. We still love him.

Yosemite Snow Trip

We had so much fun going to the mountains and playing in the snow. We stayed in a cabin for a few nights and visited Yosemite. It was so beautiful. Kelan and Beckham were missing the snow so it was fun to go see it for a few days. This is my kind of snow trip... snuggling in a cozy cabin, sitting in a hot tub in the freezing weather, eating hot coco and chili, playing games by the fire and then when it is all done heading back to the nice California weather.

Kelan was in Heaven... he was going up and down the hill ALL day. He stopped to eat two bites of chili and then was back on the hills.

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas is the boys (Especially Spencers) favorite time of the year. They love it all from the decorating to the present opening. We had fun spotting Santa all around town this year I think we might have seen him a total of 6 times! Kelan was very impressed that he was in so many different places each time we spotted him. He even asked "Does he go back to the North Pole every night?" another comment was "Santa is one big mystery!". I think he is catching on... We'll enjoy it while it lasts. :)

Christmas Decorating

These guys are such good helpers... especially Mr. Crew. I love how the boys put all the decorations in one spot on the tree. Once they go to bed I move them all so it doesn't look so ridiculous. Hahaha.

Jack London Square

We heard Santa and his Reindeer were going to be in town and sure enough they were. They were a little too stinky for Kelans liking, Beckham doesn't seem to mind.

We had to get in the picture so Crew would get close to Santa.

Santa even brought us snow... not really. They fooled Spencer though, he looked up and was like "is it snowing?" Nope it was thick bubbling... hahaha.

Gingerbread Houses

We decorated Gingerbread houses with the cousins. It was pretty funny to see their decorating skills. It consisted of making a box and filling it as full as possible with candy. Smart Kids!

Christmas Eve

The kids acted out the Nativity Scene and we sang the songs. They were so cute and did such a good job.

Baby Ashlyn was too little to be in the nativity scene and there was no way Meg was going to trust all those crazies with her baby.

Christmas Morning

We had Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Hawkes' house this year. The boys loved being around all their cousins for the Christmas break. It is nice that we are so close now so that Spence could make the quick trip up and back and up and back since he had to work Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas. No Fun! Me and Crew got to wake everyone up because he woke up first at 5:30... seriously! We were nice and let everyone sleep a little longer.

Christmas Jammies were sweat pants and thermal tops this year. Super Cozy!

Santa brought them Braves hats.

Now they look just like Dad.

Beckham got Kelan an Angry Birds game for Christmas. A lot more fun then I thought it would be.

They got Kinect from Santa. It is hilarious watching these two play.

Oakland Temple Christmas Lights

The temple is so beautiful. It might be one of my favorites now. I love how it is up on a hill and overlooks the city. It has the most amazing view.

 I (kinda more for Spencer's work) got a new camera for Christmas and obviously I don't know how to work it yet. I love it though and have been having fun playing around with it.
