Yosemite Snow Trip

We had so much fun going to the mountains and playing in the snow. We stayed in a cabin for a few nights and visited Yosemite. It was so beautiful. Kelan and Beckham were missing the snow so it was fun to go see it for a few days. This is my kind of snow trip... snuggling in a cozy cabin, sitting in a hot tub in the freezing weather, eating hot coco and chili, playing games by the fire and then when it is all done heading back to the nice California weather.

Exploring in Yosemite
Crewzer the snoozer was sleeping a lot of the time. It probably would have been a little cold for him anyway.
The beautiful icicles.
Beckham wanted to keep one for a souvenir. Good luck with that.
This wolf was following us and licking his lips. Creepy! Thank goodness we were in our car.
The beautiful waterfall.
 The Valley.

Playing in the snow
Kelan was in Heaven... he was going up and down the hill ALL day. He stopped to eat two bites of chili and then was back on the hills.
Thumbs up and a wink... hahaha.
 Making a snow Angel.
Der made the best homemade chili EVER!
... and Spencer mixed up some Stephen's hot coco for us. So yummy!
 So bright!
 Kelan was cruising.
 Yummy snow.
Ashlyn and Crew slept the whole time but made it out for about the last 10 minutes.
Not so sure about this Dad. Spencer even took him down the big hill with him and he was not happy about it.
Beckham was having so much fun!
I was impressed that Spencer and Beckham only ate it once.
 Collision!
Aunt Der was throwing the snow up for them.

Speeding down the hill. Look at the sweet air Kelan got.
 Mike and his cute family.
 Me and the boys.
Sleepy head, he is still waking up.
Driving home... good bye snow. See ya next year!

I miss "going to the snow". It's lost a lot of it's magic for me when it's just outside all the time. But My kids seem to love it so I guess they're Utah born and bred. I'll always be a California girl at heart. Looks like you all had a blast!
