Vacationing...

So while we were home in Visalia we went to a condo at Bass Lake. It was a ton of fun playing in the snow and making a trip to Yosemite National Park while we were there. It was fun to hang out with my family and get away with them. I think it was a much needed break for everyone. Yosemite is amazingly beautiful... if you've never been I definitely recommend it!

Kelan has some really pretty pink shoes on... we forgot to bring our snow stuff. Ya' gotta do what ya' gotta do. The funny thing is he absolutely loved them, he couldn't keep his eyes off them.
Kelan pushing Grandpa and Mikey. Well at least he was trying, they didn't get very far.

Mikey's not so sure about this snow stuff.

Mike and cute little Brayden. He loved the snow.

Our sweet snowman that we revived from the ground. Mikey kept wanting to knock it down, I am surprised we had enough time to take a picture.

Beautiful view of Yosemite.

Kelan just woke up from his nap on the ride up. We were very grateful he did because he gets very car sick on windy road trips. There was no throwing up on this trip, thank goodness!

Our hike to the lower falls.

Kelan and William hitching a ride from Dad and Grandpa.

We finally made it to the lower falls. The upper falls were closed for the winter. Thank goodness because I didn't bring the right shoes for this kind of activity. It was supper slick on the hike up.

One of our view stops along the way. It was an amazing view.

Mikey trying to hold the boys down for the picture. They didn't appreciate it, he thought he was helping.

Were just hanging out with John Muir at the visitor center.

Weekend Fun...

So we found the best thing ever in Visalia while we were home. It is called Boingo... the kids loved it. The best part is they play and play until they are ready to crash on the car ride home. It is great because in the winter who wants to go out and play in the cold. We definitely need one of these in Idaho.

Kelan going down the big slide... he loved it. It was the funniest thing... he would climb up and then jump right off the top of the slide, no fear.

Mikey climbing the rock wall...

William saying cheese.

Kelan and William playing in the ball house.

Kelan running through the obstacle course.

Christmas fun for EVERYONE!!!

We have had a great Christmas vacation so far. Spencer is enjoying his month off of school and I am enjoying not having to go back... woo hoo! We have had fun with friends and family... We have eaten WAY to much food and gained WAY to much weight. Good thing we have our New Year resolutions to help us out in this department. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

These are all of Spencer's class mates and the spouses... what pretty sweaters.

If you were wondering where you could pick one of these sweet sweaters up for yourself, we got them at D.I. for a great price...

I think that Jake wins for the ugliest sweater.

This is the best looking Santa I have ever seen... Kelan wasn't the biggest fan.

Weird Kelan is eating the candy off the gingerbread house.

He couldn't say cheese he was very busy.

He was a little confused by all the wrapping paper at first, but once he realized what was inside he couldn't contain himself.

Thank you Aunt Ansley, Uncle T.J., and Aunt Merilee. This was the best reaction ever.

Our little goof ball.

Merry Christmas!! Love, The Anderson's

Graduation

So I never thought this day would come... but thank goodness it did! It took me a little longer than most but hey it's better late than never, right? I took some time off to get married, have a baby, and play in California. I graduated with my degree in Health Science and Exercise Physiology, what I am going to do with this... who knows and who cares. It was a long and exciting trip but boy am I glad I am done with this Chapter in my life. I am so excited to be a MOM and a wife for once in our marriage. It will be fun to hang out with Kelan and not have to worry about homework, test, or group projects.

Woo Hoo I'm done!

Elder Euchtdorf spoke at graduation... he did a great job.

I couldn't have done it without him... or should I say I can't believe I did it with him.

Things to be grateful for...

For Thanksgiving break we were able to take a trip to Salt Lake. It was an exciting break with lots of fun activities involved. We of course made it to a Utah Jazz game, GO JAZZ! We ate tons of great food, made a trip to temple square, and had an all night shopping spree on Black Friday.

There are many things to be grateful for, here are just a few...
#1. Sleeping Babies.....
(Kelan fell asleep while we were cruising around temple square.)

#2. Husbands who love you...

#3. Happy Families....

(Yes, I know Kelan doesn't look very happy)

#4. The Utah Jazz!...

(We had the best seats in the house as you can tell)

#5. Grandpa's who spoil you...

(Kelan loves "cream")

5 unspectacular quirks about myself...

So I was tagged by Raeanna a while ago... I told her I would do it if she posted her Halloween pictures and she did so here it goes.

5 unspectacular quirks about myself that others may not know...

#1. I love to impersonate voices... Spencer especially loves my man voice that I do to impersonate him.

#2. I am probably the Utah Jazz's #1 fan! Woo Hoo go Jazz! Okay so everyone who knows me probably already knows that. I got made fun of a lot for that growing up in California, but hey I loved sporting my sweet Karl Malone jersey around school.

#3. I have an obsession when I sleep... I have to spoon to fall asleep. Spencer isn't the biggest fan of this but does it most nights because he is such a great husband.

#4. I am the most forgetful person... I am my mothers daughter. So don't be offended if I forget your name, birthday, how I know you, or anything else that may be of great importance. Here is one big SORRY to all of you who have already experienced this.

#5. I am afraid of the dark. I can't go out to the mail box at night for fear of someone jumping out of the bushes and kidnapping me.

*I am going to go ahead and tag 5 special people... Afton, Kristen, Becky, Kami, and Ansley.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY weekend!

So this weekend we had a blast hanging out with Spencer's whole fam. We did it all from the emergency room to the baby shower and an early Thanksgiving celebration. Ryan, Carrie, Kaydree and Carver came to visit this weekend so we decided to have Thanksgiving a little early this year. It was so fun to see our favorite TEXANS, it has been way too long. Right before they got here Kelan decided to start the weekend off on the right foot...

Kelan was being his crazy self and tripped over someones foot (again we won't mention any names, and no it wasn't me) and he hit his head on the base of the fire place and split it right open. So we took him to the doctors and they decided to glue it back together, it is supposed to be better for scarring. I told them I was a little nervous about that because he loves to pick his scabs. They assured me that there was no way he would be able to get the glue off, and guess what... yup two days later he picked it right off. So we took him back in and they did another glue job and they said that in two days I could start to soak it in the tub to get it off, but don't you worry that wasn't necessary because one day later Kelan had it off again. When he has a massive scar on his head we will let him know why, because he couldn't stop picking at it.

Kelan's favorite girl cousin... and only girl cousin.
Spencer and Baby Carver... what a cute little boy.

Kelan loves playing dolls, at least it is with Superman so it is a little more manly.

Aunt Merilee, Kelan and Kaydree trying to jump on the tramp... it's more like falling on the tramp.

Halloween fun!

This Halloween was a great one! I think that one of the best things about having a kid is that you get to enjoy all of the fun holidays again. Not to mention the sweet stash of candy Kelan is kindly sharing with us. So an interesting fact for the Halloween good times... Spencer is in his first year of Dental School and his teachers said that the trick to not getting cavities from all the candy you get is to scarf it all down in one night. Sick I know, but hey if it does the trick it sure does beat rotten teeth.
TRICK or TREAT? Kelan loves the treats but he is not the biggest fan of the tricks. This is seriously the funniest thing ever... Poor Kelan was terrified of Spencer but his reaction cracks me up.

This is a picture of Kelan dancing with his good friend Frank.
Every year we get together with Stephen and Afton to carve pumpkins and every year me and Afton have to beg the boys participate. It is funny because it always ends up that they do all of the work. Deep down they love carving pumpkins they just have a hard time admitting it.

Good old Trunk o' Treating...

Kelan could barely keep his balance, but he wasn't about to give up any of his candy.

He shares just as long as he doesn't know he is sharing...

Kelan found some cute kitties while we were out Trick or Treating. He loves baby kitties.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
