Baby Beck is here!!!

Beckham Spencer Anderson
7 lbs. 11 oz.
21 inches
Beckham arrived Friday the 15th at 3:14 p.m. He is so wonderful and we all love him so much. Everything went so smooth... I was a little nervous about it because I have heard good and bad stories about being induced. My story is definitely a good one and I wouldn't have done it any other way. I got started on the pitocine at about 9:00a.m. and didn't progress very fast until after they broke my water and gave me the epidural. I went from a 4 to a 10 in about an hour or so. I asked the nurse if I could up the epidural because I was feeling a lot of pressure and didn't know if it was strong enough. She turned it up and then she said "let me go ahead and check you." When she checked me she said "oh don't move we need to get the doctor here, and don't tell me that epidural isn't working that baby is about to come out." My doctor was across town at her other office about 20 minutes away. When she got there she had me push two and a half times and he was here. I thought Kelan was easy but this almost didn't seem real is was so fast and easy. I am so grateful everything went so smooth and Beckham is healthy.

Waiting and waiting...

Me and nurse Val hanging out...

Baby Beckham

He Loves his Daddy already!

He found his tongue... he's going to be just as goofy as his older brother.

Kelan was a little nervous at first. Spencer told him to give him a kiss and Kelan said "oh no daddy he to little."

Spencer and Kelan waiting for baby Beckham to warm up.

Our new family... The Fab Four.

Kisses...

and more kisses...

We sure love this little guy.

Kelan, Beckham and Grandma Nani... his new best friend. He has been feeling a little neglected. Thanks to Grandma Nani he has had someone to play choo choo's, play dough, make Mickey Mouse pancakes, take him to Donald's and pretty much spoil him to death. He loves his new baby broder.

Oh baby where are you?

Don't worry I am still large and in charge... I am definitely ready to be done! Thank goodness it is all coming to an end on FRIDAY!!! I am set up to get induced at 7:45 hopefully it goes well. I have heard good and bad stories about being induced... hopefully mine is a good one. Ready or not a baby is coming.

40 weeks
(basically)

Kelan is so excited but mostly because he knows that baby brother will bring him a new choo choo. He has been patiently waiting for this day.

The other day Kelan and I were taking a nap together and when he woke up he said...
Kelan: "Ge up baby broter ge up!" scooping at my belly he said "tum out, tum out"... then he said "mama baby broter bring me a baby toby and a big toby and a baby percy and a baby james... please baby broter."
Me: "Kelan baby brother doesn't have a lot of money so he can only bring you one choo choo."
Kelan: "Oh no mama"
Hopefully he isn't to disappointed.

For those of you who know Kelan well know that he is a very loving, cuddly, hair playing, sensitive little boy. I am sure I will find him spooning with his baby brother on many occasions in baby brothers crib.

We are definitely "cited" as Kelan would say for a new addition to our family. Hopefully he is as loving and fun as Kelan.

Christmas in St. Louis...

This year we met up with the Anderson's in St. Louis. It was a lot of fun hanging out and relaxing with the whole clan. We had fun seeing a few of the sights, playing games and being entertained by a little karaoke. Thanks to T.J. and Ansley there was enough room for all of us.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

Christmas time is Spencer's and now I think Kelan's favorite time of the year. Spencer gets so excited for the decorations, shopping, present wrapping... pretty much the whole bit. Spencer made us put up our decorations early this year. We did it the week before Thanksgiving but I was a little to embarrassed to post the pictures that early. Bottom line my Boys LOVE Christmas!!!

Spencer and Kelan putting the tree together.

Kelan strategically placing every ornament on the tree... all on the same branch.

The next morning Kelan came running into our room and said "Mama Christmas downstairs!!" every morning the first thing he does is plug in the Christmas lights.

The wreath that I decorated.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it Snow...
I have always asked everyone about the winters here and they all have said it doesn't snow much. They say it is freezing but it is mostly ice... they were wrong this year. For two days straight it snowed and snowed and snowed. I think we got about 12 inches of snow. They cancelled school and closed the doors of many businesses.

Kelan loves to go out in the snow to play for about a minute before he says "burrr it's cold, go inside please!"

This is Monday morning... look at Kelan's car.

This is Tuesday... where did Kelan's car go?

Gingerbread Houses
This would have to be one of my favorite traditions. It was fun doing it with friends who share the love of gingerbread house making this year.

Say cheese and Kelan will automatically close those darn eye's.

This was Kelan's contribution to the gingerbread house making... cleaning up all the frosting and candy.

Pure yumminess!

Santa Clause came to town!
Kelan absolutely Loved Santa this year. He was talking about going to Santa's house for days and days. We finally did it on Friday after Spencer's Finals. We went to Bass Pro Shop and they had the cutest set up ever. Best of all you got a free 4x6 picture with Santa and his reindeer. Kelan got to sit on Santa's lap 3 times because of technical difficulties with the camera and he loved it.

Kelan cheesing it up with Santa.

Me and Kelan hanging out with Frosty at the North Pole.

They had a little table to write Santa a letter and a mailbox to put it in. Kelan and Spencer are thinking so hard about what they want for Christmas.

One of Kelan's favorite parts... the choo choo's.
