Summer Fun!

SANTA CRUZ

We have had so much fun living in the Bay Area, there are so many fun places that are just a short drive away. One of our favorite spots is Santa Cruz, the beach plus fun rides, doesn't get much better than this! We made a trip down to Santa Cruz with our good friends, the Browns. It was on a Thursday and they had an awesome deal where if you brought in a Pepsi can you could get an unlimited wristband for sooo cheap. So we decided to do it. We played at the beach all afternoon then once the sun started to go down we moved our way up to the boardwalk and road rides all night, it was literally all night, until almost midnight. The kids all crashed as soon as we got in the car to go home. 

 We even brought Beckham's little buddy Brant with us. I think his parents thought we were crazy for keeping him out that late. Totally worth it, we all had a blast!

 Spencer & Adam got wristbands too, so they were on ride/kid duty all night.

OAKLAND ZOO

Another way fun thing about living where we live is the free passes we can get to so many fun things around the Bay. If you're a resident and have a library card you can get free passes. So, me and the boys all went to the Zoo, for FREE! We went with a bunch of friends from church and the boys all had so much fun. It was a little warm for my big pregnant body, but still fun!

 Crew was in love with the elephants.

 This Zoo was really cool, but I have to say it, it doesn't come close to the Omaha Zoo. We miss that place.

 That's probably half of the kids that went with us.

 SUMMER

It would be summer without watermelon and swimsuits.

 We pretty much spent all day everyday at the pool. The boys didn't seem to mind. I would not recommend being pregnant in the summer time to anyone. This was my first and only baby that I've been pregnant in the summer with, no good. I've always said, how can pregnant ladies get in swimsuits? I understand now, hahaha!

 The boys did swim lessons this summer and loved it! Kelan learned a few new things and Beckham got to play with the babies. Oooops, I may have registered him for the wrong class. Sharks, Whales, Minos, ugh, how was I supposed to know, hahaha!

 My all time favorite part of summer is that we can do whatever we want! Freedom!!! I love that Crew will sit and play video games with the boys, he totally thinks he's playing, wrong remote buddy, ummm and it's not plugged in. He doesn't even care/know. They're going to be in trouble when he catches on.

 These boys can play outside all day long. Riding bikes, digging for rocks, looking for lizard, ants, or building forts. I LOVE it!

GOOOO A's!!

Another awesome thing about where we live, professional baseball teams. Although I'm not a bid fan of baseball there is something about being at the ball park.

 Poor Beck couldn't make it to the end and poor Spence had to haul him all the way to the car.

 Always a partAy with these kiddos. Lacey is our sweet little girlfriend and fits right in with the boys.

 Summer visitors are always so fun too. Meg and Dwight came to visit for the weekend and we had fun just hanging out, craigslist shopping and relaxing. Crew and Ashlyn are quite the pair, always going at it. Crew likes to tease, especially little girls who squeal. Thank goodness sweet Ashlyn puts up with him, hahaha!
